Why is a Porsche recognizable at first glance? -A study of design with functionality and beauty.

Mr. Shuichi Yamashita's Opinion
In fact, the management of Porsche is quite concerned about the design of Porsche, and Shuichi Yamashita, Porsche AG Exterior Designer(Japanese designer responsible for the design of the Panamera Sport Turismo)said this in an interview.
The most important difference between us and other companies is that the management is very demanding when it comes to design. Especially at management meetings, where everyone from top-level personnel to designers gather, even the smallest lines on the body are discussed and sometimes rejected.

The only way to tell at a glance that a Porsche is a Porsche is toEveryone involved in design, including the management team, understands the importance of Porsche design, and no matter how much the times change, we will continue to protect it.I wonder if this is true.
Does the Panamera design look like a ●● drowned body?
Nevertheless, there is this criticism of Porsche design: the main host of the hugely popular car show "Top Gear," which ran on the BBC until 2015, Jeremy Clarkson
I often wonder if Porsche even has a designer."
The Cayenne, like most of today's Porsches, is not well designed and is as ugly as the carcass of the badger that died two weeks ago."
The Panamera's design resembles the drowned body of a 911.
And I'm saying that I'm a bit of a cockroach... (Laughter)
Porsche's design is the result of a high-dimensional balance between the two elements of "functionality" and "beauty.and I personally think it is very beautiful! I am looking forward to more and more evolution of Porsche in the future.(Why are you looking at me from above?)

Regarding Porsche's design, we have
Great!
What's best is that the 911, 981, Cayenne, and Panamera all seem to have a beautiful style that blends in with the track, the city streets, the capital city, the seaside, the mountainside, the shade of trees, the countryside, and anywhere in the world.
I like the feeling of blending in without overdoing it.
If it were a Ferrari, it would look great on a race track, but it would look out of place in the countryside.
A friend of mine who has been driving Porsches all his life said it is a car you can drive without worrying about what you wear (although he also has a Ferrari).
I also told an acquaintance of mine who owns several Ferraris (he also owns a Cayenne and a Cayman) that he should buy a Lamborghini next time, and his response was "I don't want to buy a Lamborghini because it's vulgar" (although he later bought a limited edition Lamborghini on an impulse buy).
My white Cayenne 957 is slightly lowered with Tech-Art Magnum aero and Bilsteins, but when I look at it from the front, for some reason I can see the nose and mustache, like Kitty's face when she is in a bad mood. (Is it a world of morbid self-satisfaction?). (Is it a world of morbid self-satisfaction?).

Indeed! If you ask me, it really is. It is amazing that it blends in with any landscape and that it is a sports car.
It's not boring, it's natural, it looks cool, it looks cute, and it's full of buddy-feel. What can I say, Porsche design is warm and fuzzy.
Personally, I think the Ferrari is beautiful, but it's too beautiful and a bit cold (I'd park it in the parking lot and go away depending on my mood... no way, but it's a blast).
Lamborghini seems mechanical and not natural...
Well, everyone has their own taste...
>I never get tired of it after all these years and it's really cute (morbid self-satisfaction, right?). I'm not sure if it's a sickly self-satisfaction thing.
No, I understand (laughs) I'm sure many of you know what I mean!
