今のところ”BMWのマスターピース”とされている名車、素晴らしい体験をされたんだろうなと想像しています。
私見ですが、カーボンの吸気ボックス+エアフロレスの吸気音はGT4RSの20年先を行っていますね。
写真が実車だとすると、ブレーキが社外ブレンボなのでフィーリングはその差もあるかもしれません。
ポルシェの宇宙一対向ブレンボに対して片持ちとは…と当時も今も散々な言われようで換装する方が
多いのですが、当時の広報車記事で「M社は敢えて片持ちにしている」とありますし、
私自身もディーラーで「M社のエンジニアがこれで十分な制動だと言っています」と聞いた記憶があります。
ここからは本当に駄文なのですが、同じエンジンが載ったZ4Mシリーズがあります。
MロードスターとMクーペがあり、クーペのボディ剛性はE46の3倍近いそうです。
車重はCSLと同一、ブレーキもCSLと同一、専用のアーム系も同一、最初からMT、
おそらくHiroさんの体格でしたら運転席に座ってリアタイヤに手が届きます。
私はロードスター→クーペ→ロードスターと3代目です(^-^;
機会があれば乗っていただきたい車種の一つです。

昔、喉から手が出るほど欲しかった車です。
今でもたまにカーセンサーで、チラチラ見てしまいますねw
しかし、ロードスター、クーペを3代も乗り継いでおられるとは羨まし過ぎます^^
