Smartphone mount
The other day, I was asked to write an article titled "What do you use for your phone mount (device to hold your phone in place)? He asked me a question, "What is the best way to do it?
My husband was driving his 911 Cabriolet (992) at Fuji Speedway with his phone fixed in the car, and he saw the picture and asked me about it.
My husband, when he's on the track, he'sPorsche's official "Track Precision" application. They are using the He says the app is convenient because it records and checks various information such as speed, RPM, gas pedal position, and braking.
And when I use this app, I have my phone secured in the car, but I told my husband, "I got a question about what kind of phone mount you use.I asked.
I have tried and failed to buy a lot of things in this regard.Even when the camera is installed, vibration causes wobbling, shaking, or clattering of the video image. And it was so small. But this is the one that finally meets my quality standards. It's perfect and never blurred!
He told me.
Here it is. The mount and suction cup are separate products, and they are used in combination.
My husband has been talking about this phone mount for a while now.
First, the mount itself is made of metal. It is very rigid and is not affected by the slightest vibration. The phone is not held in place by a spring, but by a screw, so it can be held in place really firmly.
Oh, and this sucker.A strong suction cup will be large, but if it's too large, the suction cup itself will show up in the image.I tried various things and found this one. So I tried various things and discovered this.
It is compact, yet it sucks quite powerfully.
Besides, the connector part to the mount is also quite rigid plastic, and even more rigid because it is short with no extra moving parts.
It is very difficult to find a product with a short connector to this mount. With this combination, theEven when driving the GT3 at full throttle on the track, it does not shake at all, nor does it make any strange rattling noises.I think it is the strongest from

You can all try it if you like.

Hello!
I always enjoy reading your blog.
We were about to ask the exact same question.
Very helpful, by the time of the Suzuka Running Meeting in May.
I would like to purchase it.
Thank you!
Another question, on the license plate in the photo you posted on your blog.
You have neatly pasted the name of the car model and the model name, that is
Are you using an app or something else?
Please let me know if you don't mind.
dispersal
Thank you!
The license plate in the photo is made using an application called "Automocamera".
The license plate we use in our home is one my husband made himself.
I will email you later!
Hello. - Hello.
I always enjoy looking at your site.
I was just about to ask the same question.
Thank you for uploading this article.
I would like to purchase it as soon as possible before the Suzuka running event in May.
Another question: the photos on your blog.
Clean processing of license plates to car make and model name
You are doing that, aren't you? How are you doing that?
Please let him know if you don't mind.
I look forward to more of your fun and informative Porsche blogs!!!
Hello.
I'm using the ones I bought at Autobacs for about 2000 yen, but my GT4 bounces around town, so I can't separate the plastic arms from the plastic ones (^^;
But if the road surface is clean, it is not a concern.
I see that the new GT3 configurations started in the US and Europe at the end of March.
I did it on an American site, and all option prices were cheaper than in Japan, and with the specifications I chose, it cost a little over 20 million.
I heard that the base is about 12% higher than the previous model, so it would probably cost more in Japan.
In case you're wondering, here it is.
PN5MJLU3
So there are people who buy in parallel.
However, it seems to depend on the type of car since the total amount for GT4 is not that different from Japan.
Nak acid
If the road surface is bad, the phone mount will wobble, especially on GT3 and GT4.
GT3 configs, here we go!
I didn't realize that in the U.S. the price is that much different...!
I would love to see Nak's specs ^^^.
Thank you!
Hello.
I always enjoy looking at your site.
I had a chance to drive my 997 GT3 at Suzuka, and I wanted to use my smartphone, so I searched the web and found an article on this website, which I always look at.
When I ordered it from Amazon, I used it a little differently. When I turned the suction cup to the point where the holder stopped, it shifted 90 degrees, and it moved a little, but that was okay. When I got home and looked at the video I took with my phone, it seemed to move a little to the left and right, so I put some silicone or something over it to stop it from moving! Thanks for sharing the good stuff!
I'd love for you to test drive my car, but it's been a while since I've had a chance to do so, and I'm planning to visit you in May or August, so if your schedule allows, I'd love to see you there!

Oh thank you!
I see the specs have changed...!
But I'm glad you were able to solve the problem with your ingenuity.
>I'd love for you to test drive my car, but it's been a while since I've had a chance to do so, and I'll be in your area in May or August, so if your schedule allows, please let me know!
Oh! If it is convenient for you, please come and join us!
Hello. - Hello.
I went to a driving event at Okayama International Circuit the other day and used the app and smartphone mount based on this article, and was able to take beautiful driving videos even with the Speedster, which has a hard suspension like the GT3! It's very nice to be able to see the timing of the shifts since I'm a MT. Thank you very much for the information.
Hello, Uesugi-san.
Oh, that's good to know.
I don't think there is a phone mount as rigid as that one, so it is probably the strongest.
But what a surprise to see the Okayama International at Speedster!
It's wonderful & I envy you!
