(3) Handling

This is my first Porsche and my first luxury sports car, so I can't give a proper evaluation, but it is just good. The center of gravity is low and the roll is small, so the lateral Gs feel small. I can't say that it is a good car.A significant portion of what we had previously thought was lateral G may have been gravity due to roll.I thought, "I'm not going to be able to do that.

4) Fuel consumption

It is very good for the power.8-9km/L in urban driving such as commuting, 9-12km/L on suburban and mountain roads, and 13-15km/L on highways.I have only tried it during break-in, but if you drive at a constant speed of 80 km/h, it will increase to 16 km/L. However, there are seasonal differences. If the air conditioner is running at full capacity during the summer, fuel economy may drop by 1 km/L or more.

Incidentally, the Subaru B4 I was driving just before(Flat 6 3.0L NA)was 7 km/L in the city, 9 km/L in the suburbs, and 13 km/L on the highway.

The Cayman (2L) has a fuel tank capacity of only 54 liters, but we feel this is sufficient for long highway trips of over 700 km.

(5) Ride comfort, glide taste

No PASM, stock ride height.Groundability is very good. Rides well as a sports car.It is. Subaru B4 before the switch.(Bilstein shocks, 18-inch wheels)but I think they are similar in terms of firmness.(rolls, etc. are much less Cayman)

However, it does not have a large stroke, so it will sway to a certain extent on large road surface irregularities.

Brakes work well as expected.The ABS operation is also easy to understand.

Visibility is better than expected, especially with the side mirrors. Due to the mirror position and rear fenders, I found it surprising that it can face outward more than a typical sedan.

My wife now wants to ride in the passenger seat more than in our previous car.

The actual dimensions are not large to begin with for a car of today, but I like the fact that it feels even smaller when I drive it.

door punch

The doors are thick, and in the case of the Cayman, there is a press line, so be careful not to hit your neighbor when parking.

Engine and exhaust noise

I think the engine and exhaust sound at low speeds is not quite right for the Cayman. I think it's more like a large displacement V8 in terms of image.It's a little different than "light sized small turbo."I have a feeling.

brake dust

Brake dust is common with standard brakes, although not limited to the Cayman.PSCB since it is not necessary to PCCB(Porsche Surface Coated Brakes)can be retrofitted.I wish I could have done that.

Interior Reflections

Chrome accents are often used on the steering wheel spokes, around the shift lever, and in the glove box, but they often reflect direct sunlight and glare. It would be nice if there was an option to make these areas matte black, but it seems to be a glossy surface even if a blackish one is selected.Therefore, black masking tape for photography is applied to prevent reflection.
