Nice to meet you! I enjoy watching both your live feeds and your blog.

When I saw the late-model Carrera S, I was surprised at how small the price difference between it and the GTS was!
'Could it be that the GTS value has gone up?' I was worried and checked the GTS config I had saved,
PDCC, which was supposed to be standard equipment, is now treated as an option (≒660,000)...

I will ask the dealer later, but I hope it is some kind of mistake (T_T).

      Hello, 1963.

I have a feeling that the PDCC's treatment of options is a two way street.
I was also told that PDCC would be included in the order, but depending on when the production quota is due, I would not be able to choose,
I hear a lot of information about options that can be added.

I will also share the information on X and my blog as I get it.

Good evening. I always read your articles with great interest. I am a Porsche fan living in Fukuoka, Japan. I have been offered a 992 late model GT3 in exchange for the purchase of a Taikan. I have been working on the configurations night and day. So I am wondering what to do with the PCCB. I've read a lot about it on the internet, but what are the pros and cons? I am wondering what the pros and cons are. I think the stock brakes are great, but is it worth it to add PCCB? I would appreciate it if you could tell me. Thank you in advance.

      Hello, Yasuaki Ninomiya.

PDCC is, to put it bluntly, a fashion w
Advantages include improved speed, fuel economy, and ride comfort at high speeds due to the reduction in unsprung importance.
On the other hand, because of its light weight, the brake feels less moist and a bit springy at low speeds compared to cast iron brakes. (Not bad by itself, but you get the idea when you compare them.)
Also, if you frequently drive on circuits such as Fuji Speedway, which are tough on brakes, PDCC is a bit of a concern in terms of durability.
On the other hand, if the car is mainly used in town, there is no need to worry, as it can be used for about the useful life of the car.

If I buy an expensive car, such as a GT type car, that I do not drive on a race track, I will put it on because it is worth the effort, but not if the car is not a GT type car.
