It was a long time.... We have been waiting for two and a half years for the delivery of the car.Nissan's Fairlady Z NISMO (RZ34) finally came to hand.
To begin with, the process of ordering a FAIRLADY Z NISMO is somewhat complicated. Initially, I had applied for a regular model FAIRLADY Z, but then the NISMO version was announced, and I applied for the lottery and was lucky enough to win.
He decided to switch to the NISMO model because he could not let this good fortune pass him by.

The exclusive stealth gray color looks matte at first glance, but in reality it has a deep glossy sheen that is truly beautiful. The red accent lines on the front lip and side sills strongly assert the NISMO model's identity. The combination of this exquisite coloring and NISMO-specific parts gives the exterior an extremely refined impression.
Driving on the highway,Strongly feel the stares from other cars.The car's high profile is a testament to the rarity of this car and its design. The high level of attention is a testament to the rarity of this car and the charm of its design.
The interior is as attractive as the exterior. The first thing that catches the eye are the NISMO-specific RECARO bucket seats. The bucket seats hold the driver's body firmly in place so that even after long hours of driving, the driver does not feel tired. As one would expect from RECARO, their capabilities are not for the faint of heart.
The red stitching and accents on the instrument panel, start button, and other areas are exclusively designed for NISMO, and the driver's mood is uplifted by the red stitching and accents. However, it is also true that the design of the navigation system and center console feels slightly dated. Nevertheless, there is no dissatisfaction with the operability of the system, and it is at a level where there are no practical problems.
The roar of a V6 engine and too light? Controls

Its sound is subdued compared to imported sports cars, but louder enough to be more than ordinary cars.
Vibrations during idling were virtually nonexistent, and the comfort level was high. I was also surprised at how quickly the air conditioning worked. This is in contrast to the Porsche.
The 9-speed AT has been tuned exclusively for NISMO to achieve extremely smooth shifting.
The gearshift shock is almost imperceptible. However, the gas pedal and brake pedals seemed a little too light to me. My wife also expressed the same opinion, as she is accustomed to imported cars,A slightly heavier setting is easier to control and gives a more direct sports car feel.I think it might be.
The steering feel is similar, and while it is easy to maneuver around town, I would like to see a little more response when driving in sport mode. The steering feel can be improved to some extent by setting the car to Sport mode or Sport Plus mode, but it would be better if this were the default setting.
Here, I must confess something. It is the "new car smell" that wafts through the car.This is the smell of resin and glue that is peculiar to domestic cars, and it will probably divide people's tastes. I myself do not like it much. Imported cars also have a smell, but it is not as chemical as this.
And as soon as I started driving, I immediately felt the overwhelming smoothness and power of the engine.
It is so smooth and powerful that it is hard to believe it is a V6 engine.I would personally give the engine a score of around 90 out of 100 for its workmanship.

But how comfortable is the ride in the city?To be honest, "bad".
The stiffness of the spring itself is acceptable for a sports car, rather than a little soft,The problem is the damper.It is. When the car picks up uneven road surfaces, the body shakes up and down, and the shaking does not seem to subside. It was as if we were riding in a modified driver's car that had lost its balance.
This is especially noticeable when driving on expressway curves where there are a series of speed control humps, and the residual vertical oscillation is strongly felt.
This uncomfortable ride may be a result of the Fairlady Z NISMO's development concept of "Buddy on Track," or in other words, the emphasis on circuit driving. Or perhaps it was developed on the premise that external dampers would be installed later, as is often the case with domestic cars.
However, our house in the same price rangeThe Porsche Cayman T, for example, is capable enough to be used on the race track, but even on ordinary roads, it offers an excellent ride quality.Besides, this is "NISMO" under the sun. Users expect the best product even if it remains stock. We expect Nissan to make further efforts in this regard.
Also, on winding roads, the lack of damping seems to have a negative impact on handling.
The load is not stable during cornering, making it more difficult than other rivals to trace a targeted line, and this makes the car a bit uneasy to enjoy sport driving.
I would like to see the car run on the target line more clearly and without ups and downs.I think.
I'm prepared to be told that this can't be true, but I was pleasantly surprised and impressed when I first started driving on the winding roads,Tesla Model 3is better. At the time, I thought, "What the heck? It's not a sports car, but it's amazing!" I couldn't help but say, "It feels so good and the driver's intention was faithfully reflected in its behavior. Of course, we understand that the Fairlady Z NISMO is a car that is primarily designed for circuit driving.
However, considering that rivals in the same price range offer high performance both on circuits and on public roads, and provide an overwhelming sense of ground contact and security even at low speeds,That is no excuse.
I honestly wish that a little more consideration had been given to comfort and handling stability on ordinary roads.
On highways, it shows its true colors!
On the highway, the impression of the Fairlady Z NISMO changes dramatically.
The engine blows up endlessly and smoothly, and overtaking acceleration is effortless.This engine is really great!The 9-speed AT is quick to shift gears and can be operated in manual mode. When the sport mode is selected, the artificially created sound is even more uplifting. Incidentally, this sound is very pleasant, and I personally feel no discomfort at all.
And the faster you go, the faster you go,Stable as if the vehicle body is absorbing to the road surfaceThe suspension is finally ready to show its true value. Finally, the true value of the suspension is demonstrated. This car was probably developed with a focus on driving performance at high speeds. However, high performance at high speeds does not mean that poor ride comfort on ordinary roads is acceptable. Considering everyday usability, there is still room for further improvement.
It should be noted that these first impressions were made under limited conditions immediately after the delivery of the car.
We may make new discoveries in the future as we put more miles on the car and test the Fairlady Z NISMO in various situations.

あの匂いは調べてみると、接着剤や樹脂、シート地などの匂いのようです。
対策として樹脂部分を熱いお湯の濡れタオルで拭くと、匂いが取れやすいそうです。
今度、私もやってみようと思います。
