Porsche 911 Turbo S and Cayenne GTS Coupe Information
A blog reader wrote, "I bought a Porsche 911 Turbo S and a Cayenne GTS Coupe. He contacted us saying, "This is my first Porsche myself, and I would like to share my impressions as a layman.
Thank you!
I am sure that your feelings will change as you drive on various roads and as your mileage increases, but I would like to share with you my first impressions of the car.
Mr. Apricot, who sent us his impressions of the Porsche 911 Turbo S and Cayenne GTS Coupe, lives in Tohoku with his wife and two children, and has been a BMW man for over 10 years (he drove an X6 M until recently). He currently owns two Porsches.
First impressions of the 911 Turbo S
The current mileage is finally over 1000 km. Options are.Glass sunroof, PASM, sport exhaust, front axle lift, safety systems such as lane keeping assist, etc.".
As for the 911 Turbo S, the sound of the sport exhaust on is quite loud, so I would be careful in the neighborhood. the PDK is very gearboxy and mechanical. The bushings attached to the suspension arm joints are not fully acclimated yet, and there is some slap on general road surfaces, but I think it will be different when you are cruising on the highway, etc.
I am looking forward to the future.
The handling and braking of the Porsche is just as I expected, a feeling I have never had in a domestic car. I can steer the car as I want and brake as I want.
Fuel economy, so far.Approx. 7km/l to 8km/l at 100km/h cruise on general roads and highwaysIt is. I think it will get better as the mileage increases.
My favorite points of the 911 Turbo S are the crayon color and, again, the bulging rear fenders, which I feel are Porsche itself.
The sticking point of the option is the PCCB. Almost no dust, no dirt on the wheels, and great for mental health. Not to mention the braking performance, of course.
First Impressions of the Cayenne GTS Coupe
The Cayenne currently has 2000 km on the odometer. The Cayenne's main options are.PCCB, air suspension, 22-inch wheels, heads-up display, lane keep assist, soft-close doors, etc.".
The Cayenne's V8 engine sound is unique and I like it very much. Also, the Tiptronic is very good, with no quirks. As for ride quality, the suspension is so smooth and firm that it is hard to believe that it is wearing 22 inches. This may be due to the effect of the air suspension.
Fuel economy is about 7 km/l to 8 km/l on general roads and highways cruising at 100 km/h, as with the 911 Turbo S.
And my favorite point of this Cayenne is the combination of carmine red and PCCB yellow calipers.
Reasons for purchasing a Porsche
The world is full of talk about hybrids and electrification... again.Porsche is a car that any car enthusiast would love to drive at least once. Finally, my longing has become a reality.
The reason why I chose the Cayenne GTS Coupe first among the Porsches was because it had similar styling and the same V8 engine compared to the BMW X6M I used to own. (Although the X6M simply has more horsepower.)
For more information about the 911 Turbo S, seePerhaps it will be the last horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine?I chose it out of a selfish belief that "I'm not a Porsche person. However, two Porsches at once was a surprise to my family and acquaintances.
When it comes to purchasing a Porsche, it was difficult to find so many options. For a Porsche novice like me, I couldn't decide what I needed and what I didn't need. After all, the amount of money was outrageous as we made choices that we would not regret later.
For more information about the time from order to delivery, please contact us.
Cayenne ordered in July 2020 - delivery mid-February 2021
911 Turbo S ordered in August 2020 - delivery mid-June 2021.
It was.
These two cars are satisfying just to look at (laughs). I will be immersed in the Porsche world for some time to come.
The mileage of the 911 Turbo S has finally exceeded 1000 km. The first oil change is scheduled for tomorrow at the Porsche Center, and after that, until about 5000 km, I plan to drive on the highway as much as possible while gradually raising the RPMs to get accustomed to driving on the highway.
Thank you, Apricot, for sending us this valuable firsthand account!
