The trunk of a Porsche Boxster can hold quite a bit of stuff - even a suitcase!

Open 2-seater trunk
The trunk of a Boxster doesn't hold much luggage."I heard that many people think that(I used to think so too)I decided to do a little verification to see what is really going on.
The Boxster...Midship layout with the engine in the middle of the body. The trunk is located in two places, in the front and in the rear. To open the trunk, pull this lever under the driver's seat.
Press the button on the trunk attached to the key.
Incidentally, the Boxster has two trunks, one in the front and one in the rear. The number of buttons on the key is also greater than those on other Porsche cars.(Boxster on the left, Panamera on the right)
Then, the hood opens a little with a "bob" sound, so I put my hand in the gap and pulled the lever inside.
The hood is fully opened and the trunk is unexpectedly spacious.
The bottom is much deeper than I had imagined. Incidentally, the M-size suitcase that my husband always takes with him on overseas business trips can also fit with room to spare like this.
This is what it looks like vertically. Of course, this will not close the hood, but it willThe bottom of the Boxster's trunk must be deep."Can you tell a little bit about the
Rimowa Porsche suitcase (33L)can also fit in with room to spare like this.
At this rate, I think I can probably fit three suitcases in the baggage compartment (laugh).
Next, the back trunk. This one is shallower than the front trunk.
As you might expect, you can't load an M-size trunk, but you can
Smaller Porsche suitcase (33L)If it was, it could be loaded without any problem.
Incidentally, when my husband goes Boxster touring alone, he puts his suitcase in the front like this
In the back is a complete touring set.

Auctions because they don't sell them normally.), ,puncture repair kit, water for misting, etc. The famous Boxster Touring Blog.WATA.They have taken a page from the book and are ready to fix a flat tire anytime the Boxster gets a flat tire while touring.
My husband alwaysThe Boxster's trunk is one of the most cargo-friendly of any convertible two-seater from any manufacturer."I say. Certainly, this time around I have been working with them to verifyWith this, I can load up two suitcases and take the Boxster on a trip to the hot springs with my wife."I felt that there was nothing wrong with it.
But, well. The trunk of the Panamera can hold more.(Laughs)

Each time I read your articles, I am beyond interested and even impressed by the depth of your content.
In the case of articles in magazines, I feel that I am reporting on one car out of many, but in Mina's blog, I feel the love for Porsche that only an owner can feel.
Now, as for the trunk loading capacity of the Boxster, my 981 had 150L in the front and 130L in the back.
It is sufficient for a short trip of about 3 days and 2 nights for a couple.
Mostly, though, unlike the younger travelers, I try to keep my luggage as small as possible.
We load up the front side trunk with vegetables, etc. that we buy at a produce stand on the way out because the trunk does not get up to temperature.
It is also very useful because it has plenty of depth.
People who see the front trunk for the first time are surprised at how deep it is; they seem to think the bottom is going to contact the road surface.
The rear trunk is designed to hold clothing and other items as the temperature rises somewhat.
Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you for your kind words!
In blogging.
I'd like to provide as much information as possible that "Porsche owners and those of you who are thinking about buying a Porsche want to know, even though it's too much trouble to do the research and try to do it yourself.
I'm so glad to hear you say that!
But maybe I'm just a little bit crafty in my personality.
I thought, "Maybe I'm being too maniacal or smug, or maybe some people just want to know more light-hearted stuff."
We are doing this through a variety of trial and error, so we would be happy to receive more feedback.
Yes, the rear trunk does get warmer (laughs).
I thought to myself, "Even if I buy fresh vegetables at a roadside station, they will be useless if I load them in the back of the car.
It's nice to see such a good load capacity for a sports car.
When my children become independent (which is still a long way off), my husband and I would like to take a trip to a hot spring.
Sorry for the repeated comments.
I bought a Boxster 981 to do small drives and trips since I can no longer do tandem touring on my motorcycle with my wife.
The reason I can't tandem anymore is because he saw me crash my BMW Adventure and crush my wife's plant (he imagined that if I had been riding behind him, he would have hit a rock nearby and died).
Karuizawa and Yatsugatake are close by, so I enjoy the scent of the trees and the sound of birdsong along with the scenery in the open there.
When I see a produce stand on my way out the door, I tend to stop by and fill my trunk with vegetables.
The image on this page by Mina (33L Remoer suitcase in the front trunk) explains the significance of the handle in the center of the lid of the Remoer Porsche model.
Just by looking at that part, I'm going to get a recurrence of the want this and want that disease, I'm in trouble.
Thank you for your continued support.
P.S. It would be nice to have a little more storage space in the 981 room, but is that a luxury?

No, not at all. Rather, thank you!

I see...! It's interesting that you imagine that if you were riding in the back of the car, rather than being crushed by the plants...? It's interesting that you imagine yourself riding in the back of the car.
I envy you for being so close to Karuizawa and Yatsugatake....
I bet it's insanely beautiful in any season...

Oh, I hadn't noticed. Thought it was just a design, but sure would come in handy when taking out suitcases from the back!
As for storage in the interior of the 981, it is true that you can't put anything in the back (maybe you can behind the seats), and you can't put a big bag in there.
