Family Touring with Porsche 911 GT3 and Boxster

Porsche 911

With 911 GT3 and Boxster.

The other day, my family and I took the 911 GT3 and Boxster to the nearby Arima Hot Springs. We decided to go there at the last minute because there was still room for us when we checked.

It was an unusually sunny day. We packed our rather large suitcases and my husband was about to put them in the trunk of the car.My goodness, it didn't even make it into the GT3 or the Boxster... (BOOM)

Incidentally, the suitcase measures H:70cm/W:48cm/D:28cm with a capacity of 70L.

My husband was the one who was

This suitcase is too wide to fit in the trunk because the wheels get caught on it. If it were smaller, it would fit in the Boxster, but that would be a hassle too. Should I give up and go with the notebook?

But it would be a shame to throw away the chance to drive a Boxster for the first time in a long time and to drive in the open on such a beautiful day.

...and so...Once back home, I had to repack my luggage into two small suitcases. It became.

I mean, why would you want to go that far with two cars...?

With the suitcases safely packed in the trunks of the GT3 and Boxster, it was time to go. It takes about 20 minutes to get from my house to Arima Onsen if it is open, and even if there is heavy traffic, it doesn't take more than 30 minutes, so I'll be there in no time.Still, it is nice to be able to drive a Porsche, even if only a little.

Every once in a while, when the car in front of us disappeared, my husband would accelerate the GT3, and the GT3 is still amazing. I don't think even the Boxster GTS could keep up with it, but the instantaneous power was amazing...I felt the car was on a different level.

On the other hand.Driving a Boxster in the open in nice weather is the best! And the sound of the GTS engine with the sports exhaust on and the spring breeze was very pleasant. And on the way there, I was approached through the window by a truck driver who was standing next to me at a stoplight.

Luck: "Are you cold?"
Me: "No, it's quite heated, so it's warm inside the car."
Luck: "These are the ones that automatically close the roof, right?"
Me: "Yes, yes!"
Luck: "I like it...drive safe...Bye!"

My daughter smiled and said bye-bye, but the first time in her life that she was spoken to by a car alongside her was a good and heartwarming experience.

Then, in no time at all, the drive was over and we arrived at our destination, but my husband, who was driving the GT3

GT3 feels so good after all.It is really nice when the road is flowing somewhat smoothly.Accelerate and decelerate as you wish and turn as you wish. It's a wonderful performance.
I've been driving the GT3 for almost a year now, and what I've ended up finding out is thatGT3 is not unrideable in town, not at all. Just not interesting or fun at all.On the other hand, empty winding, country roads and highways are a heck of a lot of fun.
After all, if there are 10 things that make a 911 fun to drive, the GT3 occupies 8 to 9 of them at high speeds, such as circuits and high speeds, and only 1 to 2 of them can be experienced in other environments. On the other hand, I think that the fun of the regular model is relatively evenly distributed in various speed ranges.
This must be the main difference between the GT3 series and other models.

He said.

For some time now, my husband has beenIf I'm going touring, I'm going alone.I'm sure there were times when my husband had to wait for me because I was too busy waiting for a car to come in, so I'd rather have him go touring by himself.

However, being able to go for a drive with two cars as a family like this may not be possible anymore once the children are out of the way, so it was a very precious thing... It was a trip to a nearby hot spring resort that made me wish we could go for a drive to various places as a family while we can.

When I went to pick up a friend of mine, I had a fucking deca suitcase that didn't fit in the front or back of my 981. I tried to carry it, but I had to open the suitcase and stuff it in the back trunk.
