Test Drive BMW M2 Competition

BMW M2 Test Drive
I looked up the M2 Competition, which I was allowed to test drive, on its official website, and this is what they wrote about it.
"On the track and on the road, a supreme driving feel that shocks the senses."
I see...it's like the GT3 in Porsche.
This M2 Competition is aPowered by 3-liter inline 6-cylinder twin power turbo engineIn.Horsepower is 410ps, maximum torque is 550NmIt has an amazing 0-100 km acceleration time of 4.2 seconds.
The body measures 4475 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1410 mm in height.
My 320i has 180 hp, so it's amazing that it has more than double the horsepower in this compact body. Also, even though it looks small.Overall width is 1855 mm.I was surprised to see that the rear fenders were quite overhanging. When I asked him about it, he said that the rear fender was sticking out quite a bit.
The back seat can accommodate two people, but it's a lot roomier than the back seat of a 911, by all senses of the word. Even an adult can ride in it without holding his/her head above the ground, and it is spacious enough for a child to ride in.
The M2 is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, which has an auto-blipping function when downshifting.
Incidentally, the car we were allowed to test drive at the dealership this time was the M2 Competition with AT.
My first impressions of the M2 AT car
The interior of the M2, with its exclusive carbon fiber trim, had the feel of a high quality sports car. When the engine was started, the engine sounded like a booming engine. The engine sounded like a "whirring" sound.Oh...! That's the sound of M's engine!". When I heard the sound of this engine, I thought to myself, "I'm going to run now!" I felt like I was being turned on.
The steering wheel is a little thicker, but I like it better. The seat adjustment levers and the air conditioner area had the same design as that of our 320i (F30), so it was hard to believe that this was the first time I had driven one.
It was a slight downhill where we left the dealership, so I took my foot off the brake and tried to get the car going, butThere is no creep phenomenon at all.If you ask them, there is almost no creep phenomenon due to the use of DCT.
The M2 drives very strongly. It has a stout body, and it has plenty of power and torque, butThe relatively compact body size gives you the feeling of driving within your own hands. There are.
This is fun!!!
When it comes to manual transmission Porsche cars, I still have some trepidation. Before starting off, I still say, "Okay! and get into the car.It is a feeling.(Well, I only drive it once every few months, so it's a matter of frequency.)However, the M2 was not intimidated, probably because he usually drives a BMW.This is going to be a fun ride, even more so if it's MT!It was an exciting feeling of "I'm excited to be a part of this.
In addition, theThe brakes felt great. If you step on it hard enough, it will stop forcefully. The handling is precise without any deviation, and I thought it was similar to a Porsche in this respect. The ride is not as stiff as the Cayman I drove before, and not as supple as the Boxster.Firm, smooth and grounding rideIt was.
I had expected the suspension to be extremely stiff because of its circuit specs, but with this smoothness, there is plenty of room for city driving.
During the test drive, there was only one place where I saw a "Here I can accelerate with a little gas pedal!I tried to step on the accelerator pedal, and the speed suddenly increased to XX km/h!(Unwritten)To...! However, although the acceleration is strong, it is not as strong as our Panamera Turbo or GT3's.Not the fearful, demonic acceleration, but the powerful, "fun! Acceleration that makes you feel "fun!It was.
On the way to the restaurant, a store owner riding beside me said, "Since we are here, I would like to hear more of the M2 engine sound. Shall I open the window? He told me to open the window and I did, but a few mosquitoes came in at the stoplight and I ended up driving with the window closed, desperately trying to keep them out (laughs).
And I'm on a test ride.
I like the m2... i want one!!!
repeatedly. Then the store owner, too.
I think it's normal to wait a year for delivery of a Porsche if you buy a new one.For M2, the car is delivered in approximately 4 monthsYou can do it! Also, one M2 comes into the store every month, and if its specifications match your own, you'll have it within a month of purchase!
And.
Oh, I see...that's nice...I want one...(*_*)
The test drive time ended quickly, and the M2 arrived at the dealership.

I always enjoy reading your articles.
I dare to comment on this page because I found this page very helpful in my purchase of M2 (MT).
I too am a person who is intimidated by "Porsche", so I understand your feelings very well.
However, I would like to own a Cayman GT4 someday.
I also listened to Clubhouse last week.
I am not familiar with the Internet, but I see that not only did you write good articles, but you also made an effort to be recognized by Google.
I didn't see too many ads either because the blog is so great and I read it every time.
I will try to click as much as possible from now on lol.
I have read many of your other articles and can really relate to your husband's thoughts.
I wish I could step up a gear and own a Porsche.
For the time being, we look forward to seeing what Mina's next car will be.
village in the middle of a (large) city
Thank you for visiting our blog.
>M2 (MT) because I found this page very helpful in my purchase.
Oh, really! I am very happy.
Thank you!
I'm so scared of Porsche that I always end up losing my mind.
I want to be able to ride it without any hesitation soon (laughs).
Also, thank you for asking about the clubhouse.
I don't often write a lot on my blog about running a blog.
Often we only talk about it in the clubhouse.
I am glad to hear you say so.
Thank you very much.
We'll keep trying, and we look forward to your continued support!
