Porsche Panamera touch screen and button operation - 5 useful functions.

④ Mode switch
The mode switch is located on the lower right side of the steering wheel.
Just turn the dial on this mode switch."Normal mode," "Sport mode," "Sport Plus mode," and "Individual mode."The change can be made immediately to Sport or Sport Plus is not often used in normal driving, but the "Indivisual Mode" is often used.(Turn one to the left)
This is aIf you set your preferred specifications in advance, you can simply turn a dial to change to those specifications.. In our house, we have it set to "louder", "stiffer footing", and "back wings open".(The engine system will remain the same, but the look will be more flashy?)I also enjoy the sound on the long slopes near my home in indivisual mode.
However, when parking, the back wings will not close unless the car is returned from Indivisual mode to Normal mode while in motion, so just be careful there.(After stopping and turning the mode switch, it does not respond and the wings stay out)
(5) Parking lot information
When I press the button "APPS" on the center console, or "Apps" on the touch panel, I get this screen
thereforeParking information.Press "+" to display information on nearby parking lots.
They are even kind enough to tell me if the car is available or not. However, it is easier to look it up on a smartphone app, but if you are driving and cannot play with your phone, you can look at this screen to find parking lot information.
(6) extra edition
What I personally found interesting, or rather, what I couldn't help but notice, was the "News" on the screen that appeared when I pressed "APPS (touch panel application). Since it says "News," I thought I would be able to read the latest news like Yahoo News, but... what came up was this screen.
The 919 Hybrid Evo set a time record on the track, how about a 911 Speedster concept...
...and that's just Porsche related news! (P.S.)
Well, it's a good way to pass the time and keep up with the latest Porsche news, so I thought it might be a good idea to read it once in a while, and when I told my husband about it when he got home.
By default, there is only Porsche news, but if you log in to the My Porsche site and set it up, you can subscribe to any RSS feeds you want. Well, I don't use news with it all the time. At any rate, there's nothing I don't know about the Panamera's navigation system, so I know everything.
I was told...
gah(In more ways than one.)That's right!
I should have asked my husband about this from the beginning. I would like to write a separate article about what my husband thinks are useful features.(I'd love to hear about any useful functions you know of, too...)
