Blog readers say that MY2021 and 2022 992 are very quiet, but this Carrera is not at least "quiet".It's an ordinary brave exhaust sound.Certainly, when idling is stable, it becomes quiet, but when you start running, it wraps around the inside of the car with a nice exhaust sound and mechanical noise.
No matter how you think about it, it's not the expression "quiet".
Certainly, GPF should be attached from around this year, but I thought that it was quite brave, and when I looked into the lower part,Apparently this doesn't seem to have a GPF.It's just a visual judgment, but as far as I check overseas materials, it seems that there is no GPF when it comes to this MY2022 911 Carrera.
Even when the sports exhaust is actually turned off, it makes a good sound as it is, and when it is turned on, the bubbling sound becomes louder, which gives a very sporty impression.
By the way, compared to our normal exhaust 992,The sound quality and volume are almost the same when the start sound and sports exhaust are off. When turned on, the sports exhaust is a little quieter and the bubbling is more flashy.Feeling.
Handling of 992
For handling,The feeling at the beginning of turning the steering is sharper than the cabriolet.The coupe is more responsive for about half a beat, with the feeling of turning your head to the inn. In the case of 992, it seems that the difference between the cabriolet and the coupe is much smaller than before the predecessor, but when compared directly like this, it seems that there is a slight difference.
After turning the steering wheel and entering the turning state, the coupe and cabriolet do not feel much different from here. Turn the curve in a very stable state. I think there are about 992 cars that have such a strong sense of security in the middle of the curve.

The Carrera 4 was my candidate because I did not have a four-wheel-drive Carrera at the time, I wanted to use it as an all-weather 911, and I like the stability of a four-wheel-drive model.
I think there is basically no difference in ride quality between Carrera and Carrera S.
Wheel size, type, and tire brand (what it will be depends on luck at the time of ordering) will have a major impact, as well as whether or not the optional PDCC (which can only be selected for S and above) is available. The recommended configuration for a comfortable ride is strongest with 20/21" classic wheels, Michelin tires, and PDCC.
I highly recommend the base Carrera. Perhaps after driving the S on the winding roads and around town, you will be surprised at how easy the engine is to drive and how stress-free it is when you drive the base. The base model has less turbo lag.

When I drove a 997 before (I was still young), I thought that an Evo or an Imp would be better (faster). But the 911 (992) was much milder in ride and behavior than I had imagined.
If you are as good as an instructor, I guess, but if you are mainly a street rider and only drive on a closed course once or twice a year as an amateur, I thought a plain 911 would be the best choice.
Although PASM is not attached, it may be more convenient for city driving if the vehicle has a slight height.
