Release Date
The end of last year (or rather, yesterday) was the last day of running. The meeting place was Ashiyu Driveway. The owner of Carrera T and his wife are very kind to us.Mr. TAKURO.and I was given the most luxurious opportunity to ride in Mr. K's Carrera T, which was recently delivered to him, at the end of the year 2024.
I'm a big stormy woman who gets hit by rain and storms when I go anywhere, not just Ashiu.I wonder if it will rain again...Fortunately, the weather was fine yesterday.
In the warm sunshine for this season, we were reunited with the Carrera T after a long time.

Reunion with Carrera T.
The Carrera T was the first Porsche I ever purchased and is filled with special memories. I ordered it as a new car, decided on the specifications with my own thought and attention to detail, and then I bought it in the "Carrera T."I don't care if I jump off the clean water stage and break a bone!I bought a Porsche with the determination that "I'm not going to buy a Porsche.
However, it was difficult to continue riding in my daily life with my three children, who are often on the move on a daily basis, and after driving about 8,000 km, I gave it up in tears. (I knew this from the beginning, but... I really wanted to buy one myself.)
Having the opportunity to drive such a Carrera T again, I thought again.
The Carrera T is the best.
The lightness, extension, and power felt very good, and the handling and engine sound were excellent.
Also, driving a manual transmission vehicle is fun. You can shift gears, operate the clutch with your own hands, and "get theYou are driving with your own hands and in your own time.I found myself savoring the realization that "theI like it... I want it again... I like it... I like it...He had a series of "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
However, when it comes to daily use, the Taikan is by far the easier car to drive...but for special weekend drives or when you want to go out and drive with all your might, the Carrera T is the best partner you could ask for.
Also, I don't have to tell you how nimble the Carrera T is.It is clearly lighter than the other models of the 992. However, this lightness is not a negative impression; it is a "lightness" that makes driving more enjoyable.
I went to Ashiu that day in a 964, which was probably due to the fact that it was an air-cooled Porsche that I had been driving just before,The sound quality of the 992's engine is reminiscent of an air-cooled engine. The hood and instrument panel of the 992 are said to pay homage to the air-cooled era, but the sound of the engine seems to be air-cooled as well.
The acceleration, ground feel, and smoothness of the EV are truly outstanding, and I would choose the Taikan again if I had to buy a new one next.
Nevertheless, for the 911, and especially for this MT-driven Carrera T,There is the pleasure of "tasting with all five senses."I think this is a part of the experience that is hard to find in a taikan. The sound of the engine, the feeling of control, and the fun you can't help but feel.
Well, I felt again that it is a really good car.
Depth of driving and future car life
Driving a MT car for the first time in a while this time, I honestly felt my driving skills deteriorating. I stalled the car once (laugh), and although I could drive the car, I could not breathe properly or felt awkward, even though I used to be able to enjoy the ride. To enjoy driving a high performance Porsche, the driver's driving skill is very important.
My husband and Mr. Takuro took over driving during the trip, and I was quite shocked to see that the car was as lively as a fish out of water (laughs).
I'm busy right now with child-rearing and work, but someday when I have a little more time on my hands, I'd like to focus a little more on improving my driving skills.
I would like to thank Mr. TAKURO and Mr. K for giving me the opportunity to drive their precious car. I was able to experience anew the charm of the Carrera T and the joy of driving it. I dream of one day buying back the Carrera T I gave up and getting behind the wheel of it again.
I will work as hard as I can this year!
We look forward to welcoming Porsche to our home in 2025!
